Salary & Retirement

Fields marked with an asterisk (*) indicate that the benefit is a pre-tax deduction.

Annual Salary

Although an employee’s annual salary at the County does not impact their medical benefit costs, it does figure into their Texas Counties and District Retirement System (TCDRS) retirement contribution, as well as in voluntary benefits such as short- and long-term disability.

Salaries for current openings can be found in the job postings listed on the WilCo Careers page. For assistance translating hourly or biweekly salaries into an annualized salary, please visit our Total Compensation Estimator. Current employees can view their salaries in the Oracle’s Self Service Portal. Please note, current employees who receive stipends or longevity will want to include those amounts in their annual salary in order to get the most accurate TCDRS contribution amount.

Biweekly TCDRS Contribution

Williamson County employees automatically contribute 7% of their salary to their retirement account with Texas Counties and District Retirement System (TCDRS). This is the biweekly retirement contribution amount based on the Annual Salary entered to the left.

Please note, the 7% contributed by employees also earns 7% compound interest each year and is matched at 250% by the County upon employee vesting (8 years of service). For more information on the County’s retirement plan, visit www.TCDRS.org.
